The Library has campus LAN connectivity with fiber optic cable (10/100 Mbps) through the Computer Center and is connected to web server (Duel Xeon). 50 systems providing network facility are installed for accessing / browsing Online. During the year 2003 the MHRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi formed a “Consortia-based subscription to Electronic resources for Technical Education” and named as INDEST (Indian Nationals Digital Library in Engineering Science and Technology), Its head quarters are at I.I.T., Delhi.
But, in the year 2016, based on the recommendation of expert committee, the MHRD has formed e-Shodh Sindhu merging three consortia initiatives, namely UGC-INFONET Digital Library Consortium, NLIST and INDEST-AICTE Consortium. The MHRD has given responsibility to INFLIBNET Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, to look after all activities of Online e-resources and receiving about 3000 online Journals.
The e-Shodh Sindhu will continue to provide current Online as well as Online archival access. The on-line Journals that are available through e-Shodh Sindhu and NITW.
