Loss of Books
In case of loss or damage of book, the user has to replace the latest edition of the book or pay the price as per rules prescribed by the Library.
Reference Section
Reference Books : The section contains reference books such as Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Directories, Handbooks, Bibliographies, Atlases, Data Books, M.Tech. Dissertations, Ph.D. theses etc. There are to be referred within the Library premises, but are not for lending.
Text books : A copy of each of the prescribed textbooks and other recommended books are kept in the Text book collection and these are to be referred in the Library premises only.
A separate reading hall for reference and text books is provided with a seating capacity of 100 members.
Periodical Section
The Library receives about 110 Journals, out of which 90 are Indian, 20 are received from Foreign. All the current periodicals are displayed on the periodical racks in the reading hall with a seating capacity of 100.
Newspapers
The Library receives 6 daily News papers in English which are placed in the reading hall.

The books will be issued once to students of those categories according to their eligibility at the beginning of the semester.

The Library has 2 book banks with a good stock of textbooks in all the Engineering subjects. They serve the needs of economically disadvantaged students. Details of these book banks are given below:
